Ibiza diaries, vol. 1

2.v2 I never understood all the fuss about Ibiza, until I went. Although it was quite a short stay, I had enough time to understand that this island is magic indeed. Everything in Ibiza is special. It makes you want to leave everything behind and start a new life, as a hippie!
3We were staying in San Antonio, beautiful area, with amazing beaches and white sand. Also, there are many ceramic studios, many of them offer courses to the locals. How amazing is this workshop? I would love to take any type of course in such a beautiful place!

The adverts for night clubs in Ibiza are really cool. I would have taken this one home, if it hadn’t been stuck so well to that pole! πŸ™‚8

Snapshots from our mini holiday last weekend. The weather was amazing, so we enjoyed strolling round the town centre and having a bite to eat. I showed you here my entire outfit, which I loved! That sweater is incredibly cosy and comfy, winner!
We stopped at a lovely cafe and had a couple ice cold beers and some “bravas” (potato wedges with garlic mayo and tomato sauce! yum!!) and enjoyed the sunshine on our faces! It’s important never to leave the house without any suncream. I got a teeny weeny bit sunburnt on my nose! πŸ™‚
You can read all about our other touristy adventures in the city we’re currently living in Spain here!

So, this was our weekend, how was yours?

Holiday by the Mediterranean beach

TheMowWay.com - Holiday by the beach Some time ago we decided to go on a mini holiday to the beach. Although the city we live in is right on the beach, we like to go down south to enjoy some “touristy” business. We spent some days in Calpe, which is not too far away from Benidorm. Like I did with some of my lovely girl friends  few months back we did camping (told you all about it in this post!)

The camping had this loovely pool with a bar which served fabulous cocktails. As you can see, Nino had a hard time unwinding and chillinΒ΄. ha!

TheMowWay.com - Holiday by the beach  Some of us had gintonics, others had chocolate ice creams. Yum. The waters were crystal clear, a dream. Relaaaxig views from my hammock, the palm trees gave it a caribbean touch.

Nino loves seafood, so we went to this place where you actually choose the “things” you want to eat (see lower left photo above). He also tried oyster for the first time. He really liked them and said they tasted of “sea”. Kinda strange…
TheMowWay.com - Holiday by the beach Views from our tent, the camping site was less than 5 minutes away from this lovely beach. πŸ™‚
